EXHBHT B - INDEX MAP
a. The current permitted mining area of 15 acres has been stripped of
overburden that was used for berms around the east, west and south
perimeters of the site. The 16.84 acres in the requested pit expansion area
are dominated with big sagebrush and contains no indicators of wetlands. In
addition none of the area either in the current permit or the expansion area
contain any indicators of seasonal flow. These facts were verified by
Ecological Resource Consultants, Inc. during the initial permitting process
IN 2009. Exhibits I & J further detail the soil and vegetation characteristics.
b. There only man-made structures within 200 feet of the mining area
are fences around the property which are owned by Pickering Family LLC,
the landowner.
C. An unnamed seasonal tributary to Smith Creek will receive any of the
stormwater discharge from the treatment pond that was constructed per the
Stormwater Management Plan.
d. Attached are:
Index Map—Exhibit B-1
Vicinity Map—Exhibit B-2
Zoning Map—Exhibit B-3
