EXHIBIT J VEGETATION INFORMATION
1 . Existing Vegetation Community
The pre-mine vegetation community at the Skelton Pit consists mostly of rangeland grasses and
forbs. Indian ricegrass, Mutton grass, Bottlebrush squirreltail, and galetta are present. Pinons
dominate the eastern 20% of the site, where the pre mine topography quickly drops off.
Vegetation cover appears to be between 60-80%.
The site vegetation is divided between an irrigated area covering most of the western portion of
the site, un-irrigated rangeland in the central third, and pinon-juniper vegetation on the east
third.
e
Y
Figure J-1 -Aerial Image of the Site
Skelton Pit
January 2022 J-1 ® Lewicki&Associates
