Rifle Gravel Pit#1 April 2022 <br /> topsoil and revegetation of the earthen berm and 637 CY will be used for reclamation in the <br /> pond wetland slope area. The remaining 7,598 CY will be sold as topsoil for landscaping <br /> and other reclamation projects. <br /> Between 1-7 feet of overburden material on average will be cut from the Affected Lands, <br /> corresponding to approximately 53,135 cubic yards (CY), of which 12,163 CY will be used <br /> for construction of the earthen perimeter berms. The remaining 40,972 CY will be sold as <br /> clean fill material for other projects. <br /> These stockpile areas will be placed as shown, outside of the mining footprint but inside the <br /> perimeter berm, which provides physical separation between the stockpiles and any wetland <br /> or tailwater channel buffer areas, and will prevent inadvertent sediment discharges. <br /> Size of Area Worked <br /> The size of area involved with this Phase is 19.00 acres. <br /> 25 <br />
