Nothing changed from February report and don't expect any changes until
things thaw out maybe by late April or early May. We are currently planning, depending on
weather, to be on site late this month or early May for our first water treatment of the season.
Overnight temperatues in Lake City (elevation 8,600 vs mine pad 9,800) on the date of this
report, and for the entire month, were still below freezing but gradually warming. Both ponds
on the pad (stormwater reservoir& minewater reservoir) have not changed in terms of
capacity levels since you were on site last December.
I've attached overhead pics of the site taken in mid March.
On a slightly different matter, we were ordered by the MLRB to provide you with a valid cost
estimate, based upon our actual expenses, for water treatment. The last treatment in Dec
2021 (approximately 10,000 gallons)was only the second time we conducted the process. We
were still testing various methods and equipment on a "rush basis"to accommodate the
DRMS Corrective Actions timetable. We believe the costs associated with the last treatment
were high and not a good measure of treatment costs going forward....ongoing batch
treatments. We still believe your estimate of$15,000 per year is reasonable. As we get
through the 2022 season we will have a much better handle on batch treatment expenses and
required frequency of treatments.
Please confirm (email is best)that you received this in good order and let me know promptly if
you have any questions or concerns.
Sincerely,
aircaih Sged br Kn
Kye Abraham.6,.0„5:,9
-0
President (Digitally signed and time stamped}
