Locations were recorded using the internal GNSS receiver of a Samsung Galaxy S10e phone
through the Esri Field Maps app.
The inspection was attended by Dough Smith(Oxbow),and Dan Mackinnon and Brook Zeller(OSMRE).
HYDROLOGIC BALANCE -Rule 4.05
Drainage Control 4.05.1,4.05.2,4.05.3; Siltation Structures 4.05.5,4.05.6; Discharge Structures 4.05.7,4.05.10;
Diversions 4.05.4;Effluent Limits 4.05.2; Ground Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Surface Water Monitoring 4.05.13;
Drainage—Acid and Toxic Materials 4.05.8;Impoundments 4.05.6,4.05.9; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18:
Elk Creek was flowing. The restored stream channel appeared stable with no obvious undercutting of the
armored banks or of the remaining sections of the Elk Creek culvert.
RECLAMATION SUCCESS-Rule 4.15,Rule 3:
New spring growth of vegetation was evident across the reclaimed area. It was obvious that the vegetation
had been browsed by wildlife.Vegetative cover appeared sufficient to stabilize the surface,and there was a
diverse mix of desirable fortis and perennial grasses from the seed mix along with opportunistic annual species.No
systematic study of vegetation was made during the inspection.
There was no evidence of any significant surface erosion in the parcels inspected.
No attempt was made to measure topsoil depths during the inspection
DOCUMENTS RECEIVED
N/A
Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 8
Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 3
Page 2 of 19
