March 29,2022 C-1981-019/Colowyo Coal Mine ZTT <br /> ut_ <br /> Water elevation dropping during inspection. (Red arrow indicates water levels observed prior to 3/29/22 and blue <br /> line showing water elevations observed on 3/30/22) <br /> The Section 28 Pond associated with the South Taylor Pit area was inspected. This pond was dry and no issues <br /> were observed. The West Taylor Pond was not inspected due to limited access from ground conditions. <br /> All ponds associated with the Collom Pit were inspected. This included Section 25, Section 26, Section 36, <br /> Sidehill and Middle Ponds. Section 36,Middle and Section 25 Ponds run in series with each other.Each pond held <br /> water and was discharging at the time of the inspection. Final maintenance of Section 25 Pond has been postponed <br /> until water levels in the pond lower to allow access to the primary spillway. The remaining Section 26 and Sidehill <br /> ponds were stable.The Sidehill pond held minimal water and was not discharging. The Section 26 pond was <br /> inspected from above due limited access with muddy conditions. Section 26 pond held water at the time of the <br /> inspection and was stable.No issues were observed with any of the Collom Pit ponds. <br /> Ponds associated with the loadout were also inspected.No issues were observed. <br /> ROADS—Rule 4.03 <br /> Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year. 6 <br /> Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year 3 <br /> Page 7 of 10 <br />
