CIVIL RES'�URCES,LL� <br /> ElVGINEERS & PLANNERS <br /> �� ��L?��,��� <br /> r....�.��. <br /> �t+°. r �� � �, , <br /> March 24�h,2022 �6t�� `' " ��� <br /> Mr. Peter Ha s DIVISIUN �� RE�CLAP�IATI�N,' <br /> Y IVIINING ���FETY-MINERALS <br /> Division of Reclamation, Mining, and Safety <br /> 1313 Sherman Street, Room 215 <br /> Denver, Colorado 80203 <br /> RE: Red Tierra Equities, L.L.C., Section 20 Mine, File No. M-2022-001, Requested Documents <br /> From Site Visit <br /> Dear Mr. Hays: <br /> On March 3�d,2022, I met with you for a site visit of the proposed Section 20 Gravel Mine site.At the site <br /> visit we discussed application deficiencies you had found in the adequacy review process up to that point. <br /> This letter addresses those deficiencies and provides the documentation requested. <br /> The following describes the deficiencies discussed and the action taken to address them: <br /> • Weed Control Plan addition to Reclamation Plan—A weed control plan has been added to the <br /> Exhibit E-1 Reclamation Plan. <br /> • Groundwater mounding and shadow model—I am currently working on a groundwater model to <br /> forecast the groundwater conditions after slurry wall construction.The results will be included in a <br /> future letter. <br /> • Send geostability exhibit—The slope stability analysis for the site has been attached to this letter. <br /> • Update exhibit c-3(structures within 200')to include CWCWD water lines, Century Link Fiber <br /> Optic,the SunShare Community Solar Solar Farm, and call out the DCP line in the southwestern <br /> section of the property—Exhibit C-3 has been updated to include these structures. <br /> • Add acreage for northern parcels in Exhibit A—The acreage for the northern parcels has been <br /> included in Exhibit A. <br /> • Commit to sending water data with annual report—The following language has been added to <br /> Exhibit G (Water Information)Groundwater Level Monitoring and Mitigation Plan: "The monthly <br /> measurements will be fabulafed and included with the DRMS annual report for the site." <br /> • Update Exhibit M(Permits)to include SEO's SWSP—Exhibit M (Permits)has been updated to <br /> include the Substitute Water Supply Plan. <br /> • Update Exhibit D(Mine Plan)to commit to providing slurry wall design—The following language <br /> has been incorporated into the attached Exhibit D (Mine Plan): "Prior to starting consfruction of any <br /> slurry wall, a Technical Revision to update the sife bonding will be applied for and will include the <br /> slurry wall design report." <br /> In addition to the items discussed, I have also attached proof of mailing to the property owners and <br /> structure owners within 200 feet of the affected land. <br /> 323 Fi�rH STREET• P.�.
