Cazier, P.E. <br /> <br />RE: J&J Stone Pit #1 - File No. M-2011-004, KrauthCo Inc <br /> Amendment Application (AM-2) <br /> Amendment to M-2011-004 <br /> <br />Please be advised that on March 24, 2022, KrauthCo Inc, whose address and telephone number are 800 <br />Garden Park Road, Cañon City, CO 81212; (719) 371-1678, filed an application for a/an Amendment <br />(AM- 2) to M2011004, J&J Stone Pit #1, which is located approximately 1 miles North of Cañon City, <br />Section 2, Township 18S, Range 70W, 06th Principle Meridian, in Fremont County. <br /> <br />This amendment will add 7.36 acres to the permit area. This area is a topsoil stockpile and access road area. <br />It is not an area that will be affected by material extraction. <br /> <br />The application decision is scheduled for June 22, 2022. Written comments or objections to the application <br />may be submitted to and additional information obtained from Timothy A. Cazier, P.E. at the Division of <br />Reclamation, Mining and Safety, 1313 Sherman St. Room 215 Denver, CO 80203, by telephone at (303) <br />866-3567 x 8169. <br /> <br />KrauthCo Inc is required to publish a public notice in a newspaper of general circulation in the locality of the <br />mining operation once per week for four consecutive weeks. If you wish to make comments on or objections <br />to the mine plan and/or the reclamation plan, they must be submitted within twenty (20) days of the date of <br />the last newspaper public notice to be considered in the application review process by the Division. You <br />should contact the applicant for the newspaper publication date. If we do not receive your comments or any <br />objection by the end of the public comment period, the Division will assume you have no objection or <br />comment to the proposed activity. <br /> <br />M-GR-03A-P
