The revision was submitted by Bowie Resources, LLC. All review and comment periods as provided in the Act and the Regulations initiate fr om this date of filing. This technical revision revises Map 28, which provides specifications for sealing the portal entries. The applicant is not proposing additional surface disturbance outside of the area currently approved for disturbance. The underground coal mining operation is on land located approximately 5 miles Northeast of Paonia, Colorado. The permit area is further described as follows: Portions of Sections 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 9, 10, 11, 14, 15, 16, and 22, Township 13 South, Range 91 West of the 6th P.M. Portions of Sections 33 and 34, Township 12 South, Range 91 West of the 6th P.M. The above-mentioned tracts of land are shown on the following USGS 7.5 minute Quadrangle map(s): Gray Reservoir, Bowie. The applicant is required to publish notice in a local newspaper that this application has been deemed complete. At the time of publication of this notice, the applicant is additionally required to place a copy of this application at the Paonia Public Library, 2 3rd Street, Paonia, CO 81428 . The
