PERMIT#:M-1977-493
INSPECTOR'S INITIALS:ACY
INSPECTION DATE:March 8,2022
McNulty
Trucks were observed hauling waste rock and overburden material to the McNulty OSF. The newly deposited
material was easily identified given its dark color as compared to the snow covered older piles. A dozer was
located at the top of the current stockpile to help grade and maintain the unloading pad. Internal haul roads
within the mine were snow covered but well maintained and an operating grader was observed.
North 40 OSF
The North 40 OSF is less frequently used given its distance away from the active mine site. It was explained by
the pit driver that this OSF is mostly used for storing low-grade or contaminated ore, that used intermittently for
blending to keep the mill operating at a steady state. The majority of this OSF was snow covered except for
recent areas where low-grade ore was taken to the plant. Berms remain in place along the edge of all highwalls
and slopes are stable.
No Problems or Possible Violations were identified during this inspection.
Responses to this inspection report should be directed to: Amy Yeldell at the Division of Reclamation, Mining
and Safety, Rm 215, 1001 E 62nd Ave, Denver CO 80216.
