Compliance With Mine Plan NA - Support Facilities Not On-site <br /> NA - Other NA - Special Categories Of Mining <br /> NA - Processing Waste R - Topsoil <br /> COMMENTS <br /> This was a partial inspection of the Trapper Mine; permit C 1981010,operated by Trapper Mining Inc. <br /> The inspection was conducted and the report and photos prepared by me,Robin Reilley of the DRMS. <br /> Graham Roberts,Trapper Mine representative was present throughout the inspection. Skies exhibited <br /> high clouds. Temperatures ranged between 20 and 40 degrees Fahrenheit. The air was calm. Coal and <br /> overburden were being hauled. Permit Revision 11 (PRI 1)is in the process of development with a <br /> proposal to open a C Pit depending on core results. The phase III Buzzard ponds will need to be <br /> reactivated as active sediment storage ponds. Coring is proposed to begin in summer 2022. The miner <br /> was being moved to the N pit. <br /> PERMITTING ACTIONS in PROGRESS.- <br /> OUTSTANDING MAINTENANCE <br /> INSPECTION <br /> GENERAL MINE PLAN COMPLIANCE: <br /> Activities in the L,N and I pits were observed and appear to be progressing as permitted. A large coal <br /> pile was present in I Pit and the miner had been removed. Several openings were seen in the highwall <br /> where the miner had operated,other openings had been closed with spoil piled onto the openings. A blast <br /> was observed in the L Pit. <br /> Several benches exist in the N Pit from west to east. The N Pit floor is exposed on the west end of the Pit. <br /> The coal level has been reached at the west end of the N Pit. There are seeps along the south and east <br /> walls of the pit that exhibited themselves as ice. Once reprogramed for N Pit characteristics,the highwall <br /> miner is scheduled to begin extraction in the N Pit now that it is in place. <br /> SIGNS and MARKERS—Rule 4.02 <br /> o Topsoil stockpiles observed were clearly marked with identifying signs. <br /> ROADS—Rule 4.03 <br /> Construction 4.03.1(3)14.03.2(3);Drainage 4.03.1(4)14.03.2(4); Surfacing and Maintenance 4.03.1(5) <br /> and(6)14.03.2(5)and(6);Reclamation 4.03.1(7)14.03.2(7) <br /> o Main haul roads were in good repair and well maintained at the time of inspection. <br /> Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 7 <br /> Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 3 <br /> Page 2 of 9 <br />
