Compliance With Mine Plan NA - Support Facilities Not On-site <br /> NA - Other Y - Special Categories Of Mining <br /> NA -Processing Waste N -Topsoil <br /> CONVOENTS <br /> This was a complete inspection of the Lorencito Canyon Mine,Colorado Division of Reclamation,Mining and <br /> Safety(DRMS or Division)permit number C-1996-084 operated by New Elk Coal Company(NECC). I,Jared <br /> Ebert and Connor Drinkard with DRMS conducted the inspection. Mr.Bill Storm and Mr.Nick Mason with <br /> NECC was aware of the inspection. Mr.Vince Massarotti with NECC accompanied us during the inspection. <br /> AVAILABILITY OF RECORDS—Rule 5.02.4(1): <br /> The records were checked at the mine office at the New Elk Mine(C-1981-012),please see the end of the report <br /> for details. <br /> EXCESS SPOIL and DEVELOPMENT WASTE—Rule 4.09 <br /> Placement; Drainage Control; Surface Stabilization: <br /> Fills 008, 007 and 009 were observed. No signs of instability were noted. The side drainage ways were clear and <br /> functional.
