Any questions related to the project shall be submitted <br /> by Tuesday, April 11, 2017. The following clarifications and amendments should be noted and <br /> incorporated into the bid document: <br /> 1. Time of Completion: The time of completion allowed for the project is increased <br /> ten (10) calendar days, for a total of fifty (50) calendar days to complete the project. <br /> 2. Bid Item 3.0: The Hard Scrabble overburden pile shall be removed to a depth of <br /> three feet (3-ft) above the pond level, with side slopes graded to 3H:iV or less. This will <br /> reduce the volume of the pile to move to 22,500 CY. Please not this item in the new Bid <br /> Schedule. All other specifications remain the same. <br /> 3. Bid Item 4.0: Attached is the map of the S Bar C Pit that was inadvertently left <br /> out of the bid document. All other specifications remain the same. <br /> 4. Bid Item 12.0- Additional Equipment Time for D8 Dozer (New) Bid Item 12.0 <br /> has been added to include additional equipment time for a D8 Dozer (or equivalent size) with <br /> operator. Dozer time will be used as directed by the PROJECT MANAGER in accordance with <br /> Standard Work Specifications, Section 19.0 of the General Bid Specification, 2009. Please note <br /> this item in the new Bid Schedule. <br /> 5. Sediment Controls: Sediment controls are not warranted during construction due <br /> to the location of the work inside the gravel pits that drain internally. <br /> All terms and conditions of the Invitation and Bid other than as changed by this amendment <br /> remain the same. Receipt and acceptance of this amendment shall be acknowledged on the bid <br /> form and by submitting the revised Bid Schedule.
