These components must be located on Exhibit E—Map: <br /> All major components are shown on Exhibit E—Pre-Mine/Mine Plan Map. <br /> The operation will consist of two access roads, allowing borrow material to be <br /> loaded and hauled to the CDOT construction site. <br /> The south and existing access road was modified to permit safe access off the <br /> I-25 Frontage Road. <br /> The north access road is an established dirt road, plated with waste asphalt. <br /> The north access road (which runs east and west) will enter the borrow pit at <br /> the northeast side of the pit and a spur road enters the northwest corner of the <br /> pit. The access road runs from the pit toward the west. It connects with <br /> County Road 7 which runs north and south and is west of the borrow pit. <br /> At the request of the landowner, all access roads will remain once mining and <br /> reclamation operations are completed. <br /> All haul roads interior to the borrow site will be maintained during mining <br /> operations to be safe and to function properly. <br /> Road maintenance will include grading, runoff controls, and dust control as <br /> needed. <br /> No on-site scale, processing facility, office, shop/maintenance facility, plant, or <br /> any underground openings will be created or needed. <br /> (f) Specify the dimensions of any significant disturbance to the land <br /> surface such as pit excavations, mine benches, impoundments, stockpiles, <br /> waste rock disposal areas, etc.: <br /> Please see Exhibit E—Pre-Mine/Mine Plan Map for pit dimensions, estimated <br /> excavation limits and location of the topsoil stockpiles. No mine benches, <br /> impoundments or waste rock disposal areas are anticipated. <br /> (g) Specify the dimensions of any existing or proposed roads that will be <br /> used for the mining operation. Describe any improvements necessary on <br /> existing roads and the specifications to be used in the construction of new <br /> roads.
