Any vegetation on the site is either weeds or very early-stage grasses and <br /> forbs. <br /> The Ecological Site Descriptions were used to describe the potential site <br /> vegetation. The vegetation can best be described with the information supplied in <br /> the Natural Resources Conservation Service's (MRCS)Ecological Site <br /> Description(ESD). The ESD's describe a region that, "...responds similarly to <br /> ecological processes...," such as soils and climate. <br /> The following map locates the proposed borrow pit in the R067BY035CO ESD <br /> known as "Salt Meadow"and R067BY031 CO, "Sandy Bottom Land".
