Compliance With Mine Plan N - Support Facilities Not On-site <br /> N -Other N - Special Categories Of Mining <br /> R -Processing Waste N -Topsoil <br /> CONIMENTS <br /> This was a complete inspection by Leigh Simmons of the Division of Reclamation,Mining and Safety <br /> (Division). Ed Ogrodny of Mountain Coal Company(MCC)accompanied the inspection. The weather was clear <br /> during the inspection,with snow and ice on the ground. The mine was active. <br /> AVAILABILITY OF RECORDS—Rule 5.02.4(1): <br /> Records were available in the mine office,details are given at the end of this inspection report. <br /> GENERAL MINE PLAN COMPLIANCE: <br /> The longwall was in the SS2 panel between cross-cuts 7 and 6. <br /> Development of the SS3 headgate was in progress,at around cross-cut 19. <br /> PROCESSING WASTE/COAL MINE WASTE PILES—Rule 4.10 and 4.11 <br /> Drainage Control; Surface Stabilization; Placement: <br /> The wash plant was producing waste at the time of the inspection.The waste was being temporarily <br /> stockpiled on the RPE-approximately 24,000 tons of material had been accumulated.No waste had been <br /> transported to the RPEE since the last inspection and the road was snow-covered,icy or wet in spots,depending <br /> on its exposure to the sun.The RPEE was not inspected. <br /> SUPPORT FACILITIES- Rule 4.04: <br /> The amount of stockpiled coal was very large still,but less than at the last inspection.
