DGM Environmental Monitoring QAPP <br /> Section 2 QUALITY OBJECTIVES <br /> The objectives of this QAPP are: <br /> • To assure that the activities of the environmental monitoring and specific project <br /> plans are performed correctly, accurately, completely, with precision and in a timely <br /> manner. <br /> • To assure that all environmental monitoring and investigation activities are <br /> conducted in a manner to produce results of the highest achievable quality. <br /> • To assure the quality of environmental monitoring data. <br /> • To obtain a high degree of confidence in the results of the monitoring program so as <br /> to assure its validity. <br /> • To identify deficiencies in any area affecting the quality of environmental monitoring <br /> and investigation work product so that corrective action can be taken or <br /> improvement can be made. <br /> • To document instances of corrective action taken or action taken for improvement <br /> as result of this program. <br /> • To promote the philosophy of continuous improvement in all areas to which this <br /> QAPP may be applied. <br /> • To provide verification that field programs and projects are conducted <br /> according to written plans. <br /> Page 2 <br />
