18
Exhibit E: Reclamation
i. Reclamation plan: No permanent structures are located on BLM property.
ii. The edges of the mining area will be mined to a 2:1 - 3:1 leaving a roughed in slope that
will require minimal effort for knockdown and shaping. In the North West corning of the
mining area there will be about 7.05 acres of 3:1 that will require minimal knock down
and shaping with a dozer. See Map F1. We will utilize incoming clean fill dirt to help
make and maintain 3:1 slope like we have done in past reclamation.
iii. Tie existing grades together to create a nice rolling landscape.
iv. The pit floor will not be reclaimed until the very end of the pit's life, since its currently
being used as a stockpile area. In the mining area there will be about 25.12 acres of pit
floor that will require pit floor ripping with a dozer and shaping. We will rip the rip floor,
and place 3"-12" of overburden on top. See Map F1
v. Storm water in the current permitted area will drain to the west into our new sediment
pond in Salebarn Canyon. Reference Map D4 & D6.
vi. The southwest corner of the mining area will have about 1.44 acres of 3:1 slopes that
will be shaped with a dozer. See Map F1
vii. The current stockpile area in the center of the affected land will require a dozer to rip
and shape the 36.01 acres of pit floor. See Map F2
viii.In the South east corner of the affected land area, there will be need for a dozer to
knockdown and shape the existing dirt backhaul slopes from 1:1 to a 3:1.
ix. BLM approved seed will be hand broadcasted @ 22.6 pounds per acre.
x. The end reclaimed area will be rolling grass fields on the BLM property.
xi. The private land owned by Gilleland Enterprises will then be turned into commercial
real-estate lots.
xii. All storm water measures will stay in place from drainages to sediment ponds.
xiii.Various machines will be used during the reclamation process: dozer, excavator, loader,
haul trucks, dump trucks to reacclimate the remainder of the slopes and pit floor.
xiv. There is no irrigation, we will have to rely on weather to germinate the seeds. This may
take 2 seasons for the seed to take off. In the event that the seed does no take off we
will have to reseed.
xv. The main access road will stay in place after mining and reclamation has finished.
