A Chain of <br /> Custody Form and a spreadsheet of sample locations are examples of sample logs. <br /> Sample ID — the unique identification assigned by the sampling technician to each sample and <br /> attached to or written on the sample label or sample container. The sample ID will normally <br /> consist of the well name and the date sampled, or other unique identifier. <br /> B.2.3. Significance and Use <br /> All personnel shall use this procedure for sample identification unless an approved alternate <br /> procedure is included or referenced in the official project records. Alternate procedures shall <br /> include the minimum sample labeling information identified below. <br /> B.2.4.
