Only one location is shown on figure C2,but Section B 1. a. states that topsoil will be placed
in the south areas of Phases 1,2 and 4. Keep in mind the rule requires that topsoil and overburden be
managed separately.
2) Please clarify if the 35*Avenue ROW is currently included in the proposed permit boundary— The
provided acreages appear to include this parcel, but it is not included in the Permit Boundary as shown
on Figure C3 or other maps.
3) Why is there a permit boundary line between Survey Parcels I and 2 on figure C3? Please revise
permit boundary to be clear and consistent on all provided figures.
4) To better address the requirements of Exhibit C(b)and(g)above, as well as Exhibit S,Please provide
a separate figure that identifies all structures and utilities within and within 200'of the permit and
correlate those with the proper structure owner information.
5) Please clearly define the 12 acre Hot Plant area, and the 11 acre Wet Plant area clearly on the Mine
Plan map figure C2). There appears to be some discrepancy between what is illustrated on the main
map,vs. what is shown on the inset mine phases depicted below, especially with respect to the extent of
the Wet Plant area.
6) Will there be enough area in the Wet Plant area to keep all raw material and product stockpiles out of
the floodway? Where will this material be placed?
7) What are the white shapes in the Hot Plant area of figure C2 and on Exhibit F representing?
8) Please resolve the discrepancy between the acreages listed on C2 which indicate that 79 acres will be
stripped in 2022, and the maximum disturbed acres at any one time of 58 acres shown on figure F.
EXHIBIT D-Mining Plan (Rule 6.4.4): The mining plan shall supply the following information, correlated
with the affected lands,map(s)and timetables:
(a)description of the method(s)of mining to be employed in each stage of the operation as related to any surface
disturbance on affected lands;
