EXHIBIT I <br /> SOIL INFORMATION <br /> The soils are labeled Manhattan Sandy Loam and Tigiwon-Turret Cobble Sandy Loams. The <br /> Manhattan series consists of well drained soils on high terraces. These soils are moderately <br /> deep over sand,gravel, and cobbles. The plant cover is grass and a small amount of woody <br /> plants. The average annual precipitation is 11 to 15 inches. The annual average soil <br /> temperature is 460 F. Material ranges in depth from 16 to 37 inches. Most of the acreage of <br /> these soils is irrigated and is used for growing hay, mainly alfalfa. <br /> The Tigiwon series consists of well drained soils that are shallow over sand and gravel. These <br /> soils are on old high terraces. The plant cover is mid grasses and an over story of Pinon Pine and <br /> Juniper. The average annual precipitation is 11 to 15 inches.
