The Colorado Division of Parks and Wildlife has reviewed the application and submitted the attached letter stating"CPW does not foresee significant impacts to wildlife or wildlife habitat. To our knowledge there are no known Threatened or Endangered species within or in close proximity to the subdivision application." Recommendation: 1. Any ground disturbance be reclaimed to alfalfa or to native grass species and recommend using NRCS seeding guidelines. 2. Agree with the plan to stockpile and reuse existing topsoil for reclamation of slopes and pit floor. Chaffee County has reviewed the proposed subdivision application for compliance with the intent and purpose of Chapter 9 of the 1041 Regulations and the Chaffee County Land Use Code. The parcel had been irrigated in the past but does not appear to have been irrigated for several years. Building sites have been designed to minimize impacts to wildlife and protect the view corridors. Following review of the proposal and consideration of the Colorado Parks and Wildlife response, Chaffee County has determined that the proposed development activities will not adversely impact wildlife species, wildlife habitat and/or wildlife movement patterns/displacement and adaption of wildlife populations within this area of Chaffee County and hereby issues this"Statement of No Impact"subject to compliance with the Colorado Parks and Wildlife recommendations.
