3.4.7 Oreprep 549 <br /> When handling Oreprep 549 the following PPE should be used: chemical-resistant, impervious <br /> gloves, safety glasses with side-sheilds. <br /> In the event of a spill/release stop leak if without risk. Keep in properly labeled containers. Keep <br /> in suitable, closed containers for disposal. Wash nonrecoverable remainder with large amounts of <br /> water. Soak up with inert absorbent material and dispose of as hazardous waste. Decontaminate <br /> tools, equipment and personal protective equipment in a segregated area. Dispose of in accordance <br /> with local regulations. <br /> 3.4.8 Polyfroth W20 <br /> When handling Polyfroth W20 the following PPE should be used: chemical-resistant, impervious <br /> gloves, safety glasses with side-shields. <br /> In the event of a spill/release stop leak if without risk. Move containers from spill area. Prevent <br /> entry into sewers, water courses, basements or confined areas. Contain and collect spillage with <br /> non-combustible, absorbent material e.g. sand, earth, vermiculite or diatomaceous earth and place <br /> in container for disposal according to local regulations. Dispose of via a licensed waste disposal <br /> contractor. <br /> 3.4.9 Sodium Isopropyl Xanthate <br /> When handling Sodium Isopropyl Xanthate the following PPE should be used: impervious gloves, <br /> rubber safety boots, protective clothing, face shield/chemical safety goggles, MSHA approved <br /> respirator for acid vapors. <br /> In the event of a spill/release eliminate all sources of ignition. Restrict access to area until <br /> completion of clean-up. Ensure clean-up is conducted by trained personnel only. Do not touch <br /> spilled material. Do not use water on spilled material as heat will be generated. Vacuum or sweep <br /> up the material and place spilled material into approved salvage drums for disposal. Flush cleaned <br /> area with water, making sure no water enters xanthate containers. <br /> 3.4. 10 NAX 31 <br /> When handling NAX 31 the following PPE should be used: impervious gloves, rubber safety boots, <br /> protective clothing, face shield/chemical safety goggles, MSHA approved respirator for acid vapors. <br /> In the event of a spill/release eliminate all sources of ignition. Restrict access to area until <br /> completion of clean-up. Ensure clean-up is conducted by trained personnel only. Do not touch <br /> spilled material.
