Phase 3-Remediation <br /> A successful resolution to the operations phase of an emergency situation at the surface facilities of <br /> the Revenue Mine will be followed by remediation actions designed to both mitigate the adverse <br /> effects of the emergency and reduce the potential for a recurrence of a similar situation. <br /> Remediation actions consist of clean-up activities at fire and spill locations, and formal and <br /> informal reviews of the emergency and the emergency response plan implementation. <br /> 3.1 Clean-Un <br /> General guidelines for clean-up activities at spill and fire locations are listed below. Specific clean- <br /> up guidelines for each material or type of incident are included with the field response operational <br /> guidelines detailed in subsection 2.2.3,the SPCC plan and the Materials Containment Plan (MCP) <br /> for the site. <br /> 3.1.1 Clean-up: General <br /> The General Manager upon the successful conclusion of field response operations will <br /> perform evaluation of cleanup requirements at fire or spill site. Thisevaluation will include <br /> the following considerations, at a minimum. <br /> 1) Type of material spilled. <br /> 2) Type of material(s) or structures affected by the incident. <br /> 3) Affected area(physical extent of contamination). <br /> 4) Physical configuration of the spilt or fire area. <br /> 5) Personnel requirements and availability. <br /> 6) Equipment requirements and availability. <br /> 7) Disposal requirements. <br /> The Safety Director will be responsible for coordinating cleanup activities in accordance <br /> with the post-field operations evaluation. <br /> Revenue Mine May 2021 Rule 8-19 <br />
