1.1.1 Work Hours <br /> During normal mine site work hours internal notification by the First Responder shall be <br /> made directly in person, or by utilizing the telephone or mine-phone page systems, if <br /> available. <br /> The first person contacted by the First Responder shall notify the General Manager and then <br /> ensure that the emergency alarm horn(Fire Alarm) is sounded to notify all other personnelon <br /> the surface that an emergency situation exists. <br /> Note: Directions on the location and use of these communications systems are attached tothis <br /> procedure as subsection 1.1.5. <br /> 1.1.2 Off-Work Hours - <br /> Off-hours notification of response personnel is initiated by the First Responder, who notifies <br /> the General Manager and other available response personnel. The General Manager carries a <br /> cell phone/pager and is on call for responding to abnormal process system conditions. If the <br /> General Manage is not available,the Mine Manager,Mill Manager, or Surface Manager must be <br /> notified. A current list of on-call emergency response personnel is provided in 1.2.1. <br /> 1.1.3 Incident Command <br /> The first Emergency Coordinator shall assume the responsibility of Incident Command until <br /> officially relieved by someone of higher authority. The Incident Commander shall ensure <br /> that the Emergency Alarm Horn is sounded to alert all site surface personnel that an <br /> emergency situation exists. The Incident Commander shall then proceed to the designated <br /> response assembly point to coordinate field operations. <br /> Note: Once a response operation is under way,a change in Incident Command should only <br /> occur if the change would significantly improve the response to the emergency situation. <br /> 1.1.4 Emergency Coordinator <br /> The Mine Manager should first and foremost act as the Emergency Coordinator during an <br /> Revenue Mine May 2021 Rule 8-3 <br />
