Box 187 <br /> Craig, CO 81626 <br /> 8 November 2021 <br /> Re: Trapper Mine (Permit No. C1981-010) <br /> Review of September 2021 and Q3 Discharge Monitoring Reports <br /> Dear Mr. Roberts: <br /> The Division has received and reviewed the September 2021 and the Quarter three Discharge <br /> Monitoring Reports (DMRs), for the Trapper Mine. Thank you for your timely submittal of this <br /> information. The report covers the period for the month of September 2021 as well as Quarter 3 <br /> 2021, comprising July through September 2021. The DMR was received by the Division on 2 <br /> November 2021 as an electronic submittal. <br /> Trapper submits the DMRs to the Division, in accordance with Rule 4.05.13(2)(a)(iii). <br /> Trapper reported that one outfall discharged during the month; No Name Pond 95 (002A). <br /> Trapper reported that primary effluent limitations were exceeded during the month of September <br /> at No Name Pond 95 discharge point. Excursions comprised: <br /> o pH <br /> o Total suspended solids (TSS) <br /> o Total recoverable Iron. <br /> TDS values for the active outfalls are no longer explicitly reported. Acute WET testing was also <br /> conducted, and the discharges at outfalls 009A, and 023A exhibited no discharge. <br /> For the quarter only the No Name system discharged. <br /> The Division does not have any questions or further comments at this time.
