PERMIT#:M2021049 <br /> INSPECTOR'S INITIALS:RAR <br /> INSPECTION DATE:30 September,2021 <br /> OBSERVATIONS <br /> A pre operation inspection of the proposed Raindance Reservoir 92 Colorado Division of Reclamation, <br /> Mining and Safety (DRMS or Division) file number M2021049 was conducted by the Colorado Division of <br /> Reclamation,Mining and Safety (The Division). Vima Partners, (Applicant), submitted a 112c application to <br /> DRMS. The application was received by The Division on 19 July 2021. Cody Wooldridge, of Vima <br /> Partners,who operates the pit accompanied me (Robin Reilley), of The Division throughout the inspection. <br /> The weather was breezy and the sky overcast. <br /> Raindance Reservoir 92 is located approximately two miles south of Windsor, Colorado, and accessed from <br /> Crossroads Road off of I25. The Raindance Reservoir 92 is an 112c application. The site is comprised of <br /> land owned by Vima Partners. <br /> The Applicant proposes constructing a developed water resource at the 91.1 acre site. Borrow material will <br /> be removed in lifts and occur in a single phase. The borrow material will be utilized for CDOT's I-25 <br /> expansion. The excavation will then be filled with raw water from Raindance River Reservoir and BH Eaton <br /> ditch diversion from the Poudre River to create a 44 acre,non potable water resource for the Raindance <br /> Subdivision. The construction of a wet well of between 40 and 45 feet deep and pump station have been <br /> permitted through the City of Windsor and Weld County. <br /> The proposed mine area was walked. The surrounding area constitutes farmland and will remain <br /> undeveloped for the time being. An existing access road is in place and runs from the northeast corner to the <br /> northwest corner of the site and comprises a dirt road about 15 to 20 feet in width. The applicant striped <br /> topsoil/growth media in advance of mining and will need to import topsoil for final reclamation. The <br /> proposed permit area is an odd-shaped polygon as depicted on the proposed Exhibit C Maps. A berm <br /> separates the proposed application from and adjacent permit. <br /> The mine identification sign and affected area boundary markers are in place and in compliance with Rule <br /> 3.1.12. The sign is located at the entrance of the site. The perimeter has been marked with posts to clearly <br /> delineate the permit boundary. The notice sign required by Rule 1.6.2(1)(b) was posted at the entrance to the <br /> mine site. <br /> Adequacy issues with the permit application have been addressed and deemed acceptable by the Division. <br /> No problems or violations were noted during this inspection. <br /> Responses to this inspection report should be directed to: Robin Reilley at the Division of Reclamation, <br /> Mining and Safety, 1313 Sherman St., Room 215, Denver, CO 80203.
