Miranda Kawcak of Peabody Inc, was present throughout the inspection. The inspection <br />was conducted, and the report prepared by me, Robin Reilley of the DRMS. The weather was <br />calm and raining with temperatures near 40 to degrees F. The ground was saturated and muddy. <br />The roads were in good condition, and only a portion of the site was accessible. <br />PERMITTING ACTIONS: <br />None <br />INSPECTION <br />GENERAL MINE PLAN COMPLIANCE: <br />Reclamation has been completed at the site. No offsite air quality issues or hydrologic impacts <br />were observed at the time of inspection. Reclamation was observed to be stable with a diverse <br />mix of well established vegetation. No expanses of bare areas or significant weed infestations <br />were noted at time of inspection. Remaining areas for Phase II and Phase III release are located <br />above pond 12. Year nine vegetation sampling of the above mentioned area is projected for <br />2022. Ponds and drainage ways appeared to be functioning adequately. <br />SIGNS and MARKERS Rule 4.02 <br />o The mine site identification signs observed at mine access points were intact, displaying <br />all required information: mine name, operator name, address, phone number, DRMS <br />permit number and contact information. <br />ROADS Rule 4.03 <br />Construction 4.03.1(3), 4.03.2(3); Drainage 4.03.1(4), 4.03.2(4); Surfacing and Maintenance <br />4.03.1(5) and (6) 4.03.2(5) and (6). <br />o Roads in and through the site were muddy and slippery limiting access to the flat areas of <br />the main haul road. <br />Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 5 <br />Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 2 <br />Page 2 of 8 <br />
