5 October 2021 C-1981-010/Trapper Mine RAR <br /> REVEGETATION-Rule 4.15 <br /> General Requirements 4.15.1; Use of Species 4.15.2, Grazing 4.15.5 Vegetative Cover; Timing: <br /> Some weeds were noted throughout the inspection and were deemed insignificant in the overall <br /> assessment of the bond release block. Weeds noted were typical of the area and included Lactuca <br /> serriola(prickly lettuce), Crisidium Arvense and Carduus nutans thistles(Canada and Musk, <br /> respectively), Thlaspi arvense(pennycress),Bassia scoparia(kochia),and Bromus tectorum(cheat <br /> grass),Lepidium draba(whitetop). <br /> o Reclamation and revegetation although dormant at this time of year,appeared to be progressing <br /> adequately and as permitted. <br /> o Small areas of weeds were noted at the time of inspection. Weeds showed evidence of treatment. <br /> o No extensive areas of weed infestations were noted in any of the requested reclamation block <br /> parcels. <br /> The vegetative cover on Phase III areas appeared stable and adequate and included strong shrub counts, <br /> dense grasses and a diversity of species including grasses,native perennials and fortis. <br /> AIR RESOURCE PROTECTION—Rule 4.17 <br /> No fugitive dust was observed. <br /> FISH and WILDLIFE—RULE 4.18 <br /> Abundant wildlife is often observed throughout Trapper mine. Wildlife included red and white tailed <br /> hawks,deer, and antelope. <br /> INSPECTION, ENFORCEMENT and CIVIL PENALTIES—R ULE 5 <br /> Inspections 5.02;Availability of Records <br /> Permit documents were inspected.
