September 28,2021 C-1981-008/New Horizon Mine LJW <br /> Surrounding each stockpile,ring ditches were constructed to contain any eroded material,however no erosion was <br /> noted. The mixed topsoil and bench 1 material stockpiles are well vegetated,however the topsoil A material has <br /> no vegetative cover. Evidence of drill seeding was noted on Topsoil A but no growth was observed. Despite the <br /> lack of vegetative cover,no signs of erosion was noted on the pile. Topsoil stockpile A can be seen in Photo Four. <br /> The final topsoil storage area is located on the Morgan property. The topsoil in this area has been separated into A <br /> nd B horizons and stored separately. Both piles have recently had material removed from them as part of the <br /> repair work conducted on the Morgan property. Since the time of use the piles have been seeded,however no <br /> vegetation has yet established on the topsoil B pile,however the topsoil A pile is vegetated. The piles were stable <br /> at the time of inspection and ring ditches are in good condition. No evidence of erosion was observed.
