Bowles <br /> <br />RE: Goose Haven Reservoir #2- Complex Expansion - File No. M-2010-071, The City of Lafayette <br /> Amendment Application (AM -2) <br /> <br />Please be advised that on October 11, 2021, The City of Lafayette, whose address and telephone number are <br />1290 South Public Road, Lafayette, CO 80026 -2706; (303) 661-1226, filed an application for a/an <br />Amendment (AM - 2) to M2010071, Goose Haven Reservoir #2- Complex Expansion, which is located <br />approximately 2 miles North of Lafayette, Section 15, Township 1N, Range 69W, 06th Principle Meridian, <br />in Boulder County. <br /> <br />Adding a new cell that will be a clay lined reservoir with a Low Hazard Jurisdictional Embankment Dam. <br /> <br />The application decision is scheduled for January 10, 2022. Written comments or objections to the <br />application may be submitted to and additional information obtained from Brock F. Bowles at the Division <br />of Reclamation, Mining and Safety, 1313 Sherman St. Room 215 Denver, CO 80203, by telephone at (303) <br />866-3567 x 8142. <br /> <br />The City of Lafayette is required to publish a public notice in a newspaper of general circulation in the <br />locality of the mining operation once per week for four consecutive weeks. If you wish to make comments <br />on or objections to the mine plan and/or t he reclamation plan, they must be submitted within twenty (20) days <br />of the date of the last newspaper public notice to be considered in the application review process by the <br />Division. You should contact the applicant for the newspaper publication date. If we do not receive your <br />comments or any objection by the end of the public comment period, the Division will assume you have no <br />objection or comment to the proposed activity. <br /> <br />M-GR-03A-P
