Compliance With Mine Plan NA - Support Facilities Not On-site <br /> NA - Other NA - Special Categories Of Mining <br /> NA - Processing Waste R - Topsoil <br /> COMMENTS <br /> This was a complete inspection of the Trapper Mine; permit C1981010,operated by Trapper Mining Inc. <br /> The inspection was conducted and the report and photos prepared by me,Robin Reilley of the DRMS. <br /> Graham Roberts,Trapper Mine representative was present throughout the inspection. Skies were clear. <br /> Temperatures ranged between 50 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit. The air was calm. Coal,overburden and <br /> ash were being hauled. Reclamation activities appeared to be ongoing as permitted. <br /> PERMITTING ACTIONS in PROGRESS: <br /> o TR128 decision proposed <br /> o SL23 Phase III release <br /> OUTSTANDING MAINTENANCE <br /> o Pond dredging in East Pyeatt,Horse,Middle Flume, Deal systems and various dozer basins has <br /> begun and will continue for some time. <br /> o Ditch reconstruction along the north edge of the N pit to handle surface flow. <br /> o Clearing vegetation below the flume at No Name Pond#5 is needed. <br /> INSPECTION <br /> GENERAL MINE PLAN COMPLIANCE: <br /> Two draglines are stationed in the L pit,one was on the south ridge and walking east to new a position, <br /> one was idle at the time of inspection. Activities in the L,N and I pits were observed and appear to be <br /> progressing as permitted. Coal was being hauled from L Pit.No blasts were set up in either L or N Pits. <br /> Blasting in L pit was scheduled for later in the week. Dredging is beginning in the east Pyeatt system at <br /> the dozer basin along the haul road. <br /> Several benches exist in the N Pit from west to east. The N Pit floor is exposed on the west end of the Pit. <br /> The coal level has been reached at the west end of the N Pit. Overburden was being excavated and hauled <br /> from the east end of the pit at the time of inspection. There are several seeps along the south and east <br /> walls of the pit. An additional dewatering well has been placed on line in N pit. Some of the seepage on <br /> the south wall may be from the ditch transmitting surface flow,(maintenance item). The Queen Anne <br /> dragline was idle in N Pit at the time of inspection. Roads being watered in N Pit at the time of inspection <br /> I pit road is close to completion. A small amount of water was present along the west edge of the I Pit at <br /> the time of inspection.
