Pursuant to Rule 6.4.4 (g): Identify the primary and secondary <br /> commodities to be mined/extracted and describe the intended use. <br /> Response <br /> The primary and only commodity to be mined is slag. The processed slag (grizzly and/or <br /> screened) will be used in concrete, asphalt, road base, pipeline bedding and end users requiring <br /> size fractions, greater than 3/8 inch (coarse sand and gravels) will be used in commodities such <br /> as rip rap, gabions, and check dams. <br /> 7. Pursuant to Rule 6.4.4 (h): Name and describe the intended use of <br /> any/all expected incidental products to be mined/extracted by the <br /> proposed operation. <br /> Response <br /> Most of the salable slag products will be used in construction and to a lesser degree for <br /> landscaping. <br /> 8. Pursuant to Rule 6.4.4 0): Specify the dimensions of any existing or <br /> proposed roads that will be used for the mining operation. Describe any <br /> improvements necessary onexisting roads and the specifications to be <br /> used in the construction of new roads. <br /> Response <br /> Primary roads will be equal to or less than 30 feet wide whereas haul roads will range between <br /> 20 and 24 feet wide.
