The inspection was conducted aerially by Brock Bowles and the image analysis and report prepared <br /> by me,Robin Reilley of the DRMS. Visibility was low due to wildfire smoke. Demolition of the site is <br /> complete. Backfilling and grading at the portal is ongoing and no activity was occuring at the time of <br /> inspection. Main haul and access roads appeared in good repair, and no offsite hydrologic or air quality <br /> issues were detected in the imagery. The vegetation at the site is turning brown due to drought conditions. <br /> No active reclamation operations were occurring at the time of inspection although equipment was staged at <br /> the Portal. <br /> ONGOING PERMITTING ACTIONS: <br /> o Mid Term Review <br /> GENERAL MINE PLAN COMPLIANCE: <br /> Reclamation is,for the most part complete, and has been performed as permitted,with all facilities demolished. <br /> With the exception of a vehicle storage building,the last remaining facilities and equipment currently comprised <br /> of utility poles and miscellaneous other debris will be hauled away. <br /> ROADS-Rule 4.03 <br /> Construction 4.03.1(3)14.03.2(3);Drainage 4.03.1(4)14.03.2(4); Surfacing and Maintenance 4.03.1(5)and(6)I <br /> 4.03.2(5)and(6);Reclamation 4.03.1(7)14.03.2(7): <br /> o Main haul roads in and around the site appeared stable and adequately maintained. <br /> o No standing water or deep ruts were noted in the imagery. <br /> o Ditches along the roads appeared dry and functioning adequately. <br /> HYDROLOGIC BALANCE-Rule 4.05 <br /> Drainage Control4.05.1, 4.05.2, 4.05.3; Siltation Structures 4.05.5, 4.05.6;Discharge Structures 4.05.7, 4.05.10; <br /> Diversions 4.05.4;Effluent Limits 4.05.2; Ground Water Monitoring4.05.13; Surface Water Monitoring 4.05.13; <br /> Drainage-Acid and Toxic Materials 4.05.8;Impoundments 4.05.6, 4.05.9; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18: <br /> o Ponds and ditches appeared dry and stable in the imagery. <br /> o Ponds,ditches and pond outslopes and banks appeared to be functioning adequately at the time of <br /> inspection. <br /> Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 5 <br /> Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 1 <br /> Page 2 of 4 <br />
