Scott <br /> <br />RE: Golden Mine - File No. M-1976 -007-UG, The Denver Brick Company <br /> Permit Conversion Application (CN-1) <br /> <br />Please be advised that on September 8, 2021, The Denver Brick Company, whose address and telephone <br />number are 210 Acme St, Denton, TX 76205; (940) 383-7569, filed an application for a/an Permit <br />Conversion (CN- 1) to M1976007UG, Golden Mine, which is located approximately 0.5 miles North of <br />Golden, Section 16, Township 3S, Range 70W, 06th Principle Meridian, in Jefferson County. <br /> <br />Convert from 110c to 112c permit by adding 61.15 acres for a total permit area of 70.15 ac and update <br />mining and reclamation plans accordingly. <br /> <br />The application decision is scheduled for December 7, 2021. Written comments or objections to the <br />application may be submitted to and additional information obtained from Eric C. Scott at the Division of <br />Reclamation, Mining and Safety, 1313 Sherman St. Room 215 Denver, CO 80203, by telephone at (303) <br />866-3567 x 8140. <br /> <br />The Denver Brick Company is required to publish a public notice in a newspaper of general circulation in the <br />locality of the mining operation once per week for four consecutive weeks. If you wish to make comments <br />on or objections to the mine plan and/or t he reclamation plan, they must be submitted within twenty (20) days <br />of the date of the last newspaper public notice to be considered in the application review process by the <br />Division. You should contact the applicant for the newspaper publication date. If we do not receive your <br />comments or any objection by the end of the public comment period, the Division will assume you have no <br />objection or comment to the proposed activity. <br /> <br />M-GR-03A-P
