COLORADO
Division of Reclamation,
Mining and Safety
Department of Natural Resources
Graham Roberts
Trapper Mining Inc.
P.O. Box 187
Craig, CO 81626
2 September 2021
Re: Trapper Mine (Permit No. C1981-010)
Review of July 2021 Discharge Monitoring Reports
Dear Mr. Roberts:
The Division has received and reviewed the July 2021 Discharge Monitoring Reports (DMRs),
for the Trapper Mine. Thank you for your timely submittal of this information. The DMR's
were received by the Division on 24 August 2021 as an electronic submittal.
Trapper submits the DMRs to the Division, in accordance with Rule 4.05.13(2)(a)(iii).
Trapper reported that a single outfall discharged during the quarter: No Name Pond 95 (outfall
002A). Trapper reported that No Name Pond 95 experienced a pH exceedance. Within 48 hours
the situation was mitigated with the addition of carbon dioxide. TDS values for the active
outfalls are no longer explicitly reported. Acute monthly WET testing was also conducted. No
discharge occurred at the outfalls requiring WET testing.
The Division does not have any questions or further comments at this time. If you have any
questions or need additional information, please contact me.
Sincerely,
Robin Reilley, M.S.
