It is unknown how <br /> these chemicals and the ore will interact or whether they will become toxic and carried into ground water and <br /> Grape Creek. <br /> Reclamation:The$261,813 reserved for reclamation is totally inadequate and Colorado will likely inherit the <br /> future costs of this Canadian companies operations. <br /> As a resident of Colorado since 1954 with a long interest in protection of public lands in the Arkansas Canyon, I <br /> am convinced that this proposed mining operation is detrimental to the environment,to the nearby residential <br /> community,and to Canon City's and downstream water quality.
