Grape
Creek proposed wilderness, the BLM grape Creek wilderness study area, the BLM's Grape Creek Area of
Critical Environmental Concern, and area wildlife are all irreplaceable gems that should not be forfeited in
exchange for lining someone's pockets through gold mining. Our area draws tourism with its unique natural
features and environment. Part of our economy relies on this, and some get rich quick scheme for distant
entities should not outweigh the needs of our county. I very much oppose granting this mining permit. We
should be stewards of this gift of beautiful land and take care of it for future generations.Thank you for your
consideration.
Permit Number*
Enter valid letter and then numbers, for example M122112211 or C123456789.
M2021046
Permitting Action Type
Select revision type or leave blank if comment pertains to a new permit application or NOI
Permit Type
Mining
County
Fremont
Site Name
Dawson gold mine
Perm ittee/Operator Name
Zephyr Mineral
Comment or Objection
Objection
Support
General Comment
Agency Comment
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Are there supporting photos, maps, or documents you wish to upload?
Yes No
