RE: LBC Bentonite Pit - File No. M-1977-231, First Bentonite Company Colorado Surety Release Request Application (SL-1) Please be advised that on August 4, 2021, First Bentonite Company Colorado, whose address and telephone number are 215 Teller St., Salida, CO 81201; (719) 539-4693, filed an application for a/an Surety Release Request (SL- 1) to M1977231, LBC Bentonite Pit, which is located approximately 3.6 miles Southeast of Howard, Section 18, Township 48N, Range 11E, 10th Principle Meridian, in Fremont County. This application initiates the process by which the Permittee may be release a portion of the permit area from reclamation liability by demonstrating compliance with all reclamation requirements for the requested area.
