COMMENTS
This was an partial inspection of the Williams Fork Mine; C1981044, operated by Moffat County Mining
LLC. The inspection was conducted aerially by Brock Bowles and the image analysis and report prepared
by me, Robin Reilley of the DRMS. Skies appeared clear. Demolition of the site is complete. Backfilling
and grading at the portal is ongoing. Main haul and access roads appeared in good repair, and no offsite
hydrologic or air quality issues were detected in the imagery. The vegetation at the site is turning brown due
to drought conditions. No active reclamation operations were occurring at the time of inspection although
equipment was staged at the 9A Portal.
ONGOING PERMITTING ACTIONS:
o Mid Term Review
Reclamation is, for the most part complete, and has been performed as permitted, with all facilities demolished.
With the exception of a vehicle storage building, the last remaining facilities and equipment currently comprised
of water tanks, cable, and other debris will be hauled away.
