The air burner is a portable device used to safely burn wood waste such as tree
stumps at very high temperatures for disposal. A brochure for the type of air curtain burner is
attached for informational purposes.
At London Mill Cobble, the air burner operation will be located on the west portion of the mine. The
air burner is skid mounted and designed to be draggable by the operator. It can be removed on a
flatbed truck. A maximum of 100 tons of slash or trees will be kept onsite at a time to feed the air
burner. A maximum of 100 tons of ash would need to be removed at any time. Since the air burner
is portable and the amounts of material that would need to be removed from the site are minimal,
no additional bond will be needed.
An air permit for the air burner has been applied for. No Park County permit is required.
Regards,
Ben Langenfeld, P.E.
Lewicki &Associates, PLLC
(720) 842-5321, ex. 1
benl@lewicki.biz
LMC Lewicki 81 Associates
July 2021
