The <br /> inspection was conducted and the report prepared by me,Robin Reilley of the DRMS. Amanda Kawcack mine <br /> representative was present throughout the inspection. Main haul roads were in good repair. No hydrologic or air <br /> quality issues were observed. Skies were cloudy and hazy due to wildfires,there was an intermittent wind <br /> and temperatures were in the lower 70 degrees F. <br /> MAINTENANCE ITEMS: <br /> A replacement mine identification sign is required at the main entrance from the County Road. <br /> INSPECTION.- <br /> GENERAL MINE PLAN COMPLIANCE: <br /> Reclamation is complete and executed as permitted. Approximately 106.2 acres of Phase I released acres remain <br /> for the next phases of bond release. These acres comprise the main haul road,Pond 6 and the slide area above, <br /> Ponds 15, 16 and17 and the slide area on the east side of the site. Reclamation appears stable with well <br /> established and mature vegetation. <br /> ROADS Rule 4.03 <br /> Construction 4.03.1(3), 4.03.2(3);Drainage 4.03.1(4), 4.03.2(4); Surfacing and Maintenance 4.03.1(5)and(6) <br /> 4.03.2(5)and(6). <br /> o Roads were stable and in good condition. <br /> o No rutted areas or areas of standing water were encountered. <br /> HYDROLOGIC BALANCE-Rule 4.05 <br /> General Requirements 4.05.1; Effluent Standards 4.05.2; Divergence and Conveyance of Overland Flow 4.05.3; <br /> Diversions 4.05.4; Sediment Control Measures 4.05.5, 4.05.6; Discharge Structures 4.05.7; Impoundments <br /> 4.05.9; Ground Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Underground Mine Entry 4.05.IOa; Surface and Ground Water <br /> Monitoring 4.05.13;Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18: <br /> o Ponds 6, 15, 16 and 17 remain as inspectable units. All pond outslopes and discharge <br /> structures appeared in good repair and functioning adequately at the time of inspection. <br /> o Pond 15 was not discharging at the time of inspection. The weir and culvert appeared in good <br /> repair.
