OLR4Y SrLV ER NIAES
Response:As discussed and agreed with the Division on July 2' the mine will commit to characterization
of tailings during the commissioning process and will segregate tailings in the Revenue TSF on a woven
clay barrier(liner).
36. In addition to item 35, complete testing for SPLP, ABA, TCLP Etc. as applicable for all
waste streams, including process water, generated at the Revenue Mine.
a. Provide updated values of Table 5 for; raw ore, Pb Concentrate,Zn Concentrate,
and tailings upon commencement of wet testing.
b. Provide updated values of Table 6 for raw ore and tailings upon commencement of
wet testing.
Response: The only waste stream that the mill will produce is tailings.
a. Once the mill is processing ore and the process has been refined the mine will supply updated
values for Table 5 Multielement Analysis of Tailings and Concentrates
b. Once the mill is processing ore and the process has been refined, the mine will provide updated
values for Table 6 ABA of Tailings.
37. Provide a summary table that compares all TCLP results to the EPS's 40 CFR 268.40 Table
7-1 (Maximum Concentration of Contaminants for Toxicity Characteristics).
a. Provide TCLP results and Table 7-1 in the same units for comparison
b. Specifically identify any contaminant that is over the regulatory limit
Response: Once the mill is creating tailings the mine will conduct a TCLP and place the results of the
procedure into a table to compares results against Table 7-1.
a. The results of the TCLP will be in the some units at Table 7-1.
b. If any contaminate is over the regulatory limit it will be identified in the table.
*Note that chemical make ups of concentrates and waste streams may change depending
on the geochemistry of the ore body being mined. If OSMI encounters a significantly different
ore body in regards to geochemistry, a re-evaluation of the waste stream, tailings and
concentrate chemistry will be required to ensure that waste streams are properly characterized
(i.e. a Hazardous Waste Determination).
38. Please commit to notifying the Division and submitting new test results if such a change
is encountered.
Response: The mine has conducted metallurgical studies on all veins currently with reserves.
The metallurgical test provided to the division on July 2111 include those results. The
metallurgical studies are attached for the Division's reference. As the mine expands and
explores various other vein systems in the region, it will commit to conducting metallurgical
studies before introducing it to the mill process.
1011' agc
