The mine is located approximately 22
miles north-northeast of Wray, Colorado nearly two miles north of County Road 54 on the west side of County
Road QQ. Eric Scott, with the Division, traveled to the site with Don Marr of Yuma County Road and Bridge
and conducted the inspection. The site consists of a single excavated area in the eastern portion of the permit. The pit
is approximately 7 acres in size and 25 feet deep. Mining has been completed at the site, and the county is
well into reclamation at this location . The earthwork, re-sloping, topsoil replacement, and reseeding has all
been completed, and revegetation is well underway, but still incomplete. Weed control efforts will need to be
maintained at this site to keep noxious species from becoming further established.

No other issues were noted during this inspection; a subset of photographs taken during the inspection are
attached.

Inspection Contact Address
Don Marr
Yuma County
1310 South Blake Street
Wray, CO 80758
