Dear Eric Scott: To follow-up with Hall-Irwin’s letter dated June 7th, 2021, and to formally respond to Item No.5 of your letter dated May 6th, 2021, regarding the above listed technical revision for the Baseline Resources Permit NO. M1997-058, we offer the following: Enclosed you will find the attached documents required to satisfy the Baseline Pit which currently has a small area above grade classifying it as a jurisdictional dam. These documents include the design review by Civil Resources and the response by the State Engineers Office. The requirements for the pit now require a new at grade concrete cut-off wall in lieu of a spillway. Per the attached letter, the State Engineer has agreed with the approach and classified the dam as a non-hazardous dam. The design now calls for a minor 100 ft at grade concrete cut-off wall as well as some minor earthwork along the North end of the Site. Hall-Irwin has completed the earthwork and is now the process of getting the small concrete cut- off wall built. Additionally, we have included an updated site map to remove the spillway and added the at grade concrete cut-off wall at the North-East corner of the North cell. We believe that with these new documents we now have completed the required response from your letter dated June 6th, 2021, as it relates to Item No. 5.
