Compliance With Mine Plan N - Support Facilities Not On-site <br /> N -Other N - Special Categories Of Mining <br /> N -Processing Waste N -Topsoil <br /> CONIMENTS <br /> This was a complete inspection by Leigh Simmons of the Division of Reclamation,Mining and Safety <br /> (Division).The weather was clear,dry and hot.The Bear mine permit is revoked,the site has been reclaimed,and <br /> the inspection frequency has been reduced to quarterly. There was no sign of any recent disturbance and access to <br /> the site was restricted by a locked gate. <br /> HYDROLOGIC BALANCE -Rule 4.05 <br /> Drainage Control 4.05.1,4.05.2,4.05.3; Siltation Structures 4.05.5,4.05.6; Discharge Structures 4.05.7,4.05.10; <br /> Diversions 4.05.4; Effluent Limits 4.05.2; Ground Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Surface Water Monitoring 4.05.13; <br /> Drainage—Acid and Toxic Materials 4.05.8;Impoundments 4.05.6,4.05.9; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18: <br /> Water was flowing from the seep below the slide area,otherwise the site was very dry. <br /> REVEGETATION—Rule 4.15 <br /> Vegetative Cover;Timing: <br /> Vegetation at the site had dried out significantly.Although cheat grass was still prevalent on much of the <br /> reclaimed area,desirable perennial grasses were also observed.There was no sign of the Canada thistle at the east <br /> end of the site that had been noted in previous years,and the tamarisk west of the seep area appeared to be well <br /> controlled. <br /> SLIDES and DAMAGE -Rule 4.12: <br /> There was no sign of any recent movement around the slide area,or any new expression of the <br /> underground coal fire. <br /> DOCUMENTS RECEIVED <br /> N/A <br /> OTHER(SPECIFY) <br /> N/A <br /> Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 7 <br /> Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 4 <br /> Page 2 of 7 <br />
