_4
DL'R4Y 9a ER M hEs
Response: The Copper Sulfate tank is made of stainless steel. This tank is a pre-existing
tank that was used for Copper Sulfate in the mill when it was originally being
commissioned in 2015. The tank is 304 stainless steel.
33. Drawings 700-GA-001 and 700-MP-205 both reference a septic tank adjacent to
the compressor room. What waste is discharging into this tank? Is there a leach
field associated with it? If so, please identify the location and type of the leach
field. Provide assurances that no waste that has come in contact with milling
chemicals will discharge into the tank.
Response:Sewage from the bathrooms in the mill is discharged into the septic tank. There
is a multi-fingered leach field that is associated with the septic that is located to the north
of the tank. Secondary containment protects the septic system from the milling process.
There are no plumbing connections between the milling process and the septic system.
34. Are all concrete containment structures to be completed as a monolithic pour? If
not, indicate what sealant will be used between pours to ensure adequate binding
between concrete layers.
Response:All concrete containment structures will be completed as a monolithic pour.
Regards,
To
Jesse
Environmental Specialist
Ouray Silver Mines
211Paoe
