The weather was clear and warm. <br /> HYDROLOGIC BALANCE -Rule 4.05 <br /> Drainage Control 4.05.1,4.05.2,4.05.3; Siltation Structures 4.05.5,4.05.6; Discharge Structures 4.05.7,4.05.10; <br /> Diversions 4.05.4;Effluent Limits 4.05.2; Ground Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Surface Water Monitoring 4.05.13; <br /> Drainage —Acid and Toxic Materials 4.05.8;Impoundments 4.05.6,4.05.9; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18: <br /> Ditches(67, 63,62, 61, 57,56, 55)were inspected.The RDA Diversion Ditch(55)has recently had a <br /> small rock slide and has debris blocking the ditch.No other issues were noted with Ditches <br /> Culverts(88, 81,45,41,40, 39)were inspected.All culverts had a small amount of water in them. <br /> Pond 008 was inspected.The pond had a large amount of water but was not draining at this time.No issues were <br /> noted. <br /> PROCESSING WASTE/COAL MINE WASTE PILES—Rule 4.10 and 4.11 <br /> Drainage Control; Surface Stabilization; Placement: <br /> No issues were noted with the RDA. <br /> ROADS—Rule 4.03 <br /> Construction 4.03.1(3)/4.03.2(3),Drainage 4.03.1(4)/4.03.2(4), Surfacing and Maintenance4.03.1(5)and <br /> (6)/4.03.2(5) and(6),Reclamation 4.03.1(7)/4.03.2(7): <br /> The road to the RDA has recently had gravel placed on it.No issues noted. <br /> The bypass road that New Elk coal is considering using temporarily while the bridge is under construction was <br /> also looked at during this inspections.No issues were noted. <br /> Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 8 <br /> Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 4 <br /> Page 2 of 6 <br />
