Rifle Gravel Pit #1 June 2021 <br /> 4.0 Exhibit C — Pre-Mining and Mining Plan Map(s) of Affected Lands <br /> Rule 6.4.3 outlines the requirements for Exhibit C as described below and depicted in <br /> Figure 3 through Figure 5. <br /> Figure 3 (Exhibit C1) depicts information required by: <br /> • 6.4.3(a) —all immediately adjoining surface owners of record [112(4)(c)] <br /> • 6.4.3(b)—the name and location of all creeks, roads, buildings, oil and gas wells and <br /> lines, and power and communication lines on the area of affected land and within <br /> 200 feet of all boundaries of such area [112(4)(e)] <br /> • 6.4.3(f) - per 6.4.7(2) (a) (Exhibit G,Water Information) [112(4)(i)]: <br /> o (a) tributary water courses, wells, springs, stock water ponds, reservoirs, and <br /> ditches on the affected land and on adjacent lands where such structures <br /> may be affected by the proposed mining operations <br /> • 6.4.3(g)—show the owner's name, type of structures, and location of all significant, <br /> valuable, and permanent man-made structures contained on the area of affected <br /> land and within two hundred (200)feet of the affected land [112(3)(c)] and 115(4)(e)] <br /> Figure 4(Exhibit C2) depicts information required by: <br /> • 6.4.3(c)—the existing topography of the area with contour lines of sufficient detail to <br /> portray the direction and rate of slope of the affected land [112(4)(g)] <br /> • 6.4.3(d)—the total area to be involved in the operation, including the area to be <br /> mined and the area of affected lands [112(4)(f)] <br /> Figure 5 (Exhibit C3) depicts information required by: <br /> • 6.4.3(e)—the type of present vegetation covering the affected lands [112(4)(i)] and, <br /> • 6.4.3(f) - per 6.4.7(2) (b) (Exhibit G, Water Information) [112(4)(i)]: <br /> o (b) all known aquifers <br /> 4.1 List of Permanent Structures <br /> Figure 3, Exhibit C1 depicts the permanent man-made structures contained on the area of <br /> affected land and within two hundred (200)feet of the affected mining land parcel. The <br /> primary structures include utilities, CDOT Access Road and the Shideler property for the <br /> dewatering pipeline. Exhibit A and Exhibit C1 depict the known locations of these <br /> structures. <br /> 4.1.1 Known Utilities <br /> SGM conducted a utility field investigation on November 21, 2020. The following list of <br /> utilities existed at that time: <br /> • Centurylink—fiber, telephone <br /> • Holy Cross Energy—electric <br /> • URSA Operating Company, LLC—gas, steam, non-potable water(not confirmed but <br /> sign indicated) <br /> • Xcel Energy— high pressure gas (not mapped as more than 200 feet from property) <br /> • CDOT-County Road (CR) 346 <br /> SGM coordinated with these utilities as required for the access road design. <br /> 8 <br />
