Rifle Gravel Pit#1 June 2021 <br /> 1.0 General Operation Information <br /> IHC Scott (Scott) is applying for a Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety (DRMS) <br /> Construction Material, Regular(112) Operation Reclamation Permit for the Rifle Gravel Pit <br /> #1. The Rifle Gravel Pit#1 is located approximately 1-mile northeast of Rifle, Colorado. <br /> 1.1 Applicant/Operator <br /> IHC Scott, Inc. <br /> Tony Roberts <br /> 9200 E. Mineral Avenue, Suite 400 <br /> Centennial, Colorado 80112 <br /> troberts@scottcontracting.com <br /> 1.2 Operation Name(pit, mine or site name) <br /> Rifle Gravel Pit#1 <br /> 1.3 Permitted Acreage <br /> 1.3.1 Existing DRMS 111 Permit <br /> None <br /> 1.3.2 New DRMS 112 Permit <br /> The Rifle Pit#1 parcel (property boundary) is 58.7 acres. The estimated area of <br /> disturbance during Stage 1 is 18.04 acres and 8.70 acres during Stage 2. A 12" dewatering <br /> pipeline will be installed during the site preparation phase to collect water from the <br /> dewatering wells and floor of the mining pit and convey it to the Colorado River. The land <br /> disturbance associated with the dewatering pipeline is temporary and estimated at 0.96 <br /> acres (3,622 linear feet with a 5-foot offset on both sides of the pipeline). CR346 will also be <br /> paved for an approximate length of 3,252 feet. The total estimated planned Affected Area is <br /> provided in Table 1 and amounts to approximately 31.56 acres. <br /> 1 <br />
